Published container dimensions
16 ft long × 8 ft wide × 4 ft 6 in high. These are DW’s published container diagram dimensions, not a universal delivery clearance. Allow extra room for truck access, the loading operation and pickup. Concrete and dirt require the 16-yard container.
Discuss a medium renovation or cleanout
A kitchen remodel, a room-by-room cleanup or a commercial suite update may be a reason to compare the 20-yard. Start with the debris rather than assuming that a project name decides the size. List cabinets, wood, drywall, household contents or fixtures separately for acceptance review. Identify the largest pieces and roughly how much material is expected. The right container depends on volume, weight and loading access, not just the square footage of the room.
Compare the 12-, 20- and 30-yard diagrams
DW’s 20-yard diagram is 6 feet longer than the 12-yard while showing the same width and side height. Its 30-yard adds 2 feet in length and raises the sides to 6 feet. Those differences can help you discuss placement and carrying routes. If you need more volume, do not overlook how you will load taller sides; allow room for the rear door. The box footprint still excludes the truck’s operating area and pickup approach.
Separate dense material from a general remodel load
Tile, brick, concrete, dirt and other dense material need specific identification before service is arranged. DW directs concrete and dirt to its designated 16-yard setup, not the 20-yard general-debris option. Keep excluded materials such as asphalt roofing and shingles, tires, liquids, paint cans and hazardous waste out of the rental. If your renovation reveals a new material during the work, confirm it before mixing it into the agreed load.
Request the complete rental quote
Tell DW your project ZIP, material, approximate amount and preferred timing. Confirm the rental period, accepted load, included disposal allowance, delivery and pickup terms, and any extra charges before scheduling. The form carries this container as a preference, and you can change the size or choose Not sure yet. DW is based in Spring Branch and confirms service for the actual project address. Call (713) 465-7231 if you want to talk through the job first.
Questions before you request a dumpster
Does this 20-yard container quote include delivery and disposal?
Ask DW to confirm the complete price and what it includes for delivery, pickup, disposal weight and rental days. This site does not publish a fixed allowance or universal price.
Can I request a quote if I am not sure this size is right?
Yes. Describe the debris, amount and site, and select Not sure yet if needed. DW can compare the actual containers with you before arranging service.
